The Alen Air Purifier is designed for spaces up to 27 square meters in size, and it can purify the air there 4.8 times in one hour. In contrast, Molekule Air Purifier recommends utilizing the Molekule Air in areas up to 180 square meters; however, it can only purify the air once every hour in a space up to the recommended size. Check out the Iupilon team’s detailed review, the same as we’ve provided with TruSens Air Purifier Vs. Molekule Air Purifier.

Here’s Why You Should Care About Air Purifiers

Addressing air pollution is serious business. There are so many reasons why people are always looking for the best air purifier. The best air purifier can literally mean the difference between health and sickness.

Freedom from air pollutants should be a right. But sadly, we can’t control everything in our environment, so we instead turn to the best air purifiers. Hepa filtration should be a standard by now in all homes, as well as high-efficiency particulate air purifiers.

We recommend that you familiarize yourself with knowing what an air quality indicator is, too. If you have a pet dander at home, an air purifier should be able to take care of the ubiquitous pet dander.

A great air purifier should be able to clean the surrounding air easily, and with a push of remote control. Reduce airborne contaminants today, whether at home or in confined space. Deal with pet hair and cigarette smoke, and other volatile organic compounds. Dust mites should not be a problem anymore, as well as mold spores and airborne particulates.

What’s Up With Molekule?

Regarding the look of the device, we must point out that the Molekule Air is a high-end air purifier with an aluminum housing with some plastic components. We are convinced that this model is the most well-made air purifier currently available. The Alen Air Purifier is composed entirely of plastic and does not contain any metal components; nonetheless, it looks like a high-end, contemporary product.

We may say that we think the filtration technique developed by Alen is superior to that developed by Molekule. It employs a three-stage filtration system, is equipped with a True HEPA filter, and achieved astonishing results in tests measuring its effectiveness. In addition, Molekule employs a filtration technology known as PECO, a proprietary method they have patented.

Overall, Molekule demonstrated a performance that was slightly below that of Alen. Continue reading to determine which one fared better in other tests, which is better in terms of the requirements, and which one outperformed in testing that replicated real-world conditions. We have the perfect air purifier for you, whether you need it to guard against allergens and smoking or want the air to be cleaner.

Is Alen a Good Air Purifier?

Alen was always renowned as a best-rated air purifier company, and its gorgeous design is just one of the reasons for this reputation. In addition, only Alen manufactures large, whisper-quiet air purifiers explicitly designed for bedrooms; no other company offers a combination of a CADR rating of more than 300 and a maximum noise level of less than 50 dB.

We have researched the products and consulted with specialists in air filtration and improving the air quality within buildings. In addition, we put seven of the many models sold on Amazon through their paces to determine which ones have the qualities we believe you should consider.

The engineering at Alen is excellent; it is so good that the company is sure its products will not have any problems. However, if it occurs, they will assist you, you will have a lifetime warranty, and they will even send you replacement components at no cost if you require them.

The premium pricing of Alen units is counterbalanced by the filter’s lifespan of 12 months, high expenditures in the near term, but cheap costs in the long term. HEPA filters that are standard need to have their filters replaced per four to six months.

Is Molekule Really Better Than Alen?

After conducting in-depth research on these brands of air purifiers (Alen and Molekule), conducting side-by-side comparisons of their technical specifications results from actual use, and other aspects, we concluded that Alen is the superior product to purchase over Molekule.

Our Iupilon team considered various criteria, including the availability of an air quality monitor, a clean air delivery rate in each air purifier model, and the required frequency of filter replacements. In addition, we investigated whether or not the unit has a filter that can be cleaned, as well as the price of a new filter.

To put it briefly, the best air purifiers do not guarantee that they will fix everything wrong with you and your home. But if you’re wondering whether purchasing an air purifier is worth the money, we think you should. Given the correlation between poor air quality and ill health, having access to the appropriate filter can facilitate the distribution of healthier air, which is always a welcome development.

The Alen did noticeably better in all aspects of the performance tests; it is an air purifier that is generally quieter, more affordable to maintain, and considerably more affordable to purchase initially. These factors combined more than justify choosing Alen as the victor in this competition.

Does Molekule or Alen Get Rid of Dust?

Because air purification is more complex than only the rapid elimination of particles, this evaluation of Molekule is incomplete. While our rate of destruction is lower, the complexity of cleaning the air at the nanoscale level to make it safer more than makes up for it.

The Molekule Air nearly failed our comprehensive battery of tests for air purifiers. Dust mite allergens, cat allergies, smog, smoke, and air dust are all within the 0.1 to 1-micron range we tested by injecting them into a sealed chamber. After 15 minutes of operation, the machine’s impact on the air’s particle concentration was assessed using a particle counter. Finally, we ran our standard tests at maximum and minimum speeds.

There are more fashionable and reasonably priced options than the Molekule Air and its newer, larger relative, the Molekule Air Pro. The Molekule Air’s dust removal performance at high speeds is rated as Fair, while it receives the lowest possible rating of Poor at low speeds. We ranked it as the seventh-worst air purifier out of 105. The larger Molekule Air Pro performed better now at the highest setting. Still, this advantage is mitigated because it produces significantly more noise when traveling at high speeds and costs considerably more.

Which Air Purifier is Most Effective?

Air purifiers are devices that are intended to clean the polluted air that is found inside a building. This polluted air can be caused by various activities, including cooking, dust, car emissions, and fires. These airborne particles can aggravate respiratory conditions and cause allergic reactions.

When selecting an air purifier, most industry professionals believe that filtration is essential, yet measuring it can be difficult. Therefore, we consulted industry professionals to understand other air purifiers and everything you need to consider before purchasing one to aid you in seeking an air purifier that is the most excellent fit for your needs and your budget.

The Alen BreatheSmart Classic is a high-end air purifier, so it’s not for those searching for something basic and inexpensive. However, read on if you’re interested in high-powered air cleaning equipment for huge spaces and have the extra cash to spare.

The BreatheSmart is an air purifier with excellent deep cleaning capabilities thanks to its four interchangeable HEPA filters, ionizer, and activated carbon filter. The BreatheSmart is an excellent choice because, unlike many air purifiers, it won’t be an eyesore in your home despite its efficiency.

Alen air purifiers remove pollutants from the air you breathe in homes with a history of dust buildup, whether due to age, the presence of pets or cigarette smoking, or because you live in a high-risk area.

The Alen BreatheSmart, Alen’s newest model, provides users with many valuable enhancements. The most advanced and potent version of Alen’s air purifier to date, it employs a True HEPA filter to eliminate airborne allergens and germs.

There are claims that this air filter, designed for medical settings, can remove particles as fine as 0.1 microns from the air, making it safe to breathe. But unfortunately, contaminants like mold and other hazardous substances fall into this category.

Over the years, Alen air purifiers have been purchased and used by hundreds of satisfied consumers as their primary method of cleaning the air in their homes. The new purifier has received numerous compliments on its sleek design, silent operation, and low profile. It’s simple to understand why loyal patrons adore their Alen air purifiers, earning an average of 4 out of 5 Amazon star-rating from more than 240 reviewers.

Customers especially appreciated the silent operation of these air purifiers and the helpfulness of Alen’s staff. In addition, the new purifier has received numerous compliments on its modern look.

The Best Air Purifier From Molekule: Molekule Air Pro Air Purifier

The Molekule Air Pro is the latest and greatest air purifier available from the Molekule brand, and it features some noteworthy upgrades over its predecessors. Although it is advertised as covering even more ground than the original Molecule Air, it is far from a productive powerhouse. Check out a comprehensive review of the Molekule Air Pro to discover if it’s a good choice for everyday use.

Compared to the original Molekule Air, the Molekule Air Pro is a vast improvement. And for it to be better, it has to cost approximately $1199, or $400 more than its predecessor. It’s simple to upgrade to a more powerful air purifier; in this case, the bigger, the better. But that doesn’t stop you from spending on technologies that can neutralize harmful airborne pollutants like formaldehyde and a wide variety of RNA and DNA viruses.

The louder the fan, the higher its power. The same holds with the Molekule Air Pro. The latest iteration of the Molekule Air fan is an engineering improvement over its predecessor. There is a noticeable increase in background noise because it is much stronger. The quietest setting is 33 dB, which is still louder than most standard air cleaners.

This Molekule Air Pro reaches a maximum noise level of 64 dB at maximum speed. As a result, white noise, such as that produced by a fan, is perceptible and won’t let you get much shut-eye. Thankfully, the Smart Sensor will minimize any background noise.

Truly, Molekule Air Pro is designed for larger rooms, so the unit naturally needs to reflect that in its dimensions. As a result, it’s similar to the Molekule Air but broader and deeper, so it appears like a thicker Molekule Air. In addition, the compact form factor of the Molekule Air Pro helps it blend in with its expansive surroundings.

It retains the classic cylindrical form for the same reason, to make the most of the 360-degree air intake and thus the maximum power of the fan. The air purifier has a body made of anodized aluminum, making it seem much more expensive than the plastic alternatives available for under $600. However, fingerprints can easily stick to the screen.

This air purifier may not look or feel like anything from the beyond, but make no mistake: it is a high-end piece of equipment. This Molekule Air Pro is your salvation; while the PECO filter is far from ideal, this is one piece of technology that has blown us away.

As the follow-up to both the original and the portable Molekule Air Mini, it has practically all of the upgrades we requested throughout the years. If you need an air purifier that works around the clock, you need one with an actual Smart Sensor, and this one does.

Of course, you may wonder why to buy this Molekule Air Pro instead of large, bulky, industrial items like the Austin Air Bedroom Machine, Austin Air HealthMate Plus, Airpura UV600, and AllerAir 5000, given that the PECO filter is still no better than the traditional PCO technology.

As a very high-end air purifier, the Molekule Air Pro isn’t the most powerful or most intelligent option. However, if the idea of a PECO filter appeals to you, as it does to us, you should purchase the item from our deal since returns are hassle-free.

Cheaper Alternative: Mila Air Purifier with Basic Breather Filter

While the Mila Air Purifier with Basic Breather Filter is a must-have for anyone concerned about the air quality in their house, it may be too expensive for some people or too loud for others. However, although expensive, the equipment is top-notch and turns indoor air purification into a pleasant pastime.

The first of its kind, this design features a horizontally positioned fan that blows fresh air upward and into the room. This layout prevents you from being blasted with icy air during the winter.

Manual control or automatic operation are both viable options for using the Mila. The manual mode is simple, letting you adjust the fan speed to your liking, while the automatic mode provides many more options. However, we found that utilizing auto mode constantly can be annoying and that all options have their benefits and drawbacks through our investigation. Therefore, switching to the app’s manual mode could sidestep this problem.

Much effort and attention to detail were put into the design of the physical machine and the mobile app for Mila, which could be one of its most important selling features. It’s nice to know that Mila’s creators considered the device’s potential place in a user’s daily life and routine.

The purifier’s bulky, square form factor makes it challenging to find an appropriate spot for it to be positioned. This may appear like a minor comment, but keep in mind that much bulkier purifiers are available on the market that doesn’t have nearly as much curb appeal.

As various chemicals and substances have different toxicity levels, the efficiency of each removal procedure will also change depending on the substance being eliminated. In some instances, filters can cost up to $59 a piece and last six months. The hardware costs $349, and you’ll need a filter for that, but if you sign up for automatic renewal orders, you’ll get your first filter for free, and then you’ll get a new one every six months.

The Mila purifier has received over one hundred five-star reviews from customers worldwide but has only been available on Amazon. Furthermore, 81% of buyers rated it 5 stars, making it the highest-rated air purifier we looked at.

Reviewers lauded the ease with which this purifier could be installed. You must remove it from the packaging, detach the front panel to access the filter, throw away the packaging, and then reinstall and plug it in. The process is as easy as that.

Best-Performing Alternative: RabbitAir SPA-780N Ultra Quiet HEPA Air Purifier

Many individuals have trouble deciding which kind of Rabbit Air purifier is best for them. Our Rabbit Air reviews have broken down the various models by their sizes, prices, levels of filtration, and noise output so you can make an informed purchase.

The Rabbit Air purifier is a beautiful piece of engineering. However, there are many moving parts in the Rabbit Air SPA-780N: Ultra Quiet HEPA Air Purifier, with its six purification stages.

The fan speeds will change automatically in auto and pollen modes based on your air quality. A negative ion generator is turned on when you touch the light mood button. The icing on the cake is the controller, which lets you fine-tune the Rabbit Air without touching it.

The Rabbit Air SPA-780N purifier is a cutting-edge and efficient appliance that eliminates germs, odors, allergens, and other indoor pollutants. The Rabbit Air purifier is a six-stage filtering system that efficiently eliminates airborne toxins.

Its WiFi connectivity means you can check the air quality from the comfort of your couch and make adjustments remotely. Compared to the baseline, it improved particle reduction by 98.5% in our tests. The results it produced were nothing short of spectacular.

You will immediately notice the purifier’s front panel. The device’s front panel is customizable; users can pick one from the Rabbit Air artist series. You may customize the look of this air purifier with nine different front panel options. Remember that Rabbit Air is known to switch up its patterns often.

One of the best features of the Rabbit Air SPA-780N purifier is that it can be mounted on the wall. In addition, this air purifier may be placed on the wall, so it won’t take up too much floor or tabletop space if your living quarters are on the cramped side.

After more than 1900 reviews, users of the Rabbit Air SPA-780N model gave it a stellar score of 4.7 out of 5 on Amazon. This is a remarkable feat, especially considering how recently Rabbit Air began selling as a purifier.

The repeat user states that the app works with the new brand he bought. The essentials are as follows, however, because the preponderance of the other reviews already has addressed all of the general knowledge: In addition to becoming one of the finest air purifiers, it is also one of the rare ones that can be mounted on the wall. Another plus is that production took place in Korea rather than China.

And unlike other premium brands, which often employ brushed motors, this one runs on brushless technology. Brushed motors’ carbon blocks wear out over time due to friction, but the brushless motors used by Rabbit Air have a longer lifespan and are more efficient.

Sleek Design Alternative: ORANSI Mod Air Purifier

There are a few issues with the ORANSI Mod Air Purifier, the most glaring being the astronomical price tag for such few valuable functions. The absence of an intelligent function makes it unlikely that any air purifier will be included on Iupilon’s most definitive list. Even if the ORANSI Mod has superior performance, it needs at least the Smart Sensor to keep up with other mods in the market.

You’ll have to go elsewhere if you want fancy extra functions, as the larger ORANSI Mod and many American commercial air purifiers are identical in this respect. Such as the Rabbit Air SPA-780N or the Dyson HP04.

ORANSI Mod is a True HEPA MERV17 air purifier made in the USA with pride. This air purifier has excellent filtration power and efficiency. This efficiency is due to a high-efficiency MERV 17 filter and a robust motor. The meaning of MERV 17 will be discussed in greater detail later on. Unfortunately, the ORANSI EJ120 is priced out of reach for most people as a premium model.

The ORANSI Mod’s simple design makes the vents stand out so that as much area as possible can be ventilated. In addition, there are openings on the top and the side for air to escape. Due to this, a tremendous amount of air can be circulated in a comparatively compact area. A CADR of 331 to 360 indicates that it can purify the air of roughly 1,250 square feet.

This air purifier is not the most expensive option from this maker, but it is still quite pricey. This time, the True HEPA and Activated Carbon filters are the stars. Despite its portability, this is designed primarily for use in the comfort of your own home. As mentioned before, the ORANSI Mod makes tremendous noise when operating at full speed. The highest decibel level is 20, quieter than a standard cooling fan operating at low rpm.

In contrast to the MERV-16 filter used by the previous ORANSI Max, the MERV-17 filter used by the ORANSI Mod is exclusive to the ORANSI EJ120 and the ORANSI Erik 650A. The ORANSI Mod has also been upgraded with a new and improved air filter that is more effective at snagging airborne debris. As a result, ORANSI can catch 99.9% of particles with a size of fewer than 0.01 microns. Our best estimate is that it’s a nanometer-sized particle.

The EJ120’s ORANSI Mod weakens parts of the plane’s stellar carbon-filtering mechanisms. The ORANSI Mod, being a portable air purifier, makes sense to have a thinner carbon filter layer than some of its rivals. After two hours of operation, the manufacturer reported that 88% of the formaldehyde was absorbed.

If i’m reading this correctly, I think your results were so poor for the Molekule because you only ran it for 15 mins. Their PECO technology takes longer to filter the air than other methods. However, I don’t think time is that critical of a factor for most people. Just leave it on, forget about it and a day later the air will be clean.
